Gardening Together

Gardening Together is a new not-for-profit social enterprise. We plan to help connect agreeable, friendly people to garden together.People who want to share the act of growing in gardens. People without gardens and those with gardens who are willing to share them.We want to put together the kind of person who has been on an allotment waiting list for years and put them in touch with someone struggling to maintain their own garden and would like some help.Together they can grow, learn and share in the harvest.

We have now built our membership site please check it out below

The right to grow

Everyone should have space to grow which brings health, well-being, and access to food and beauty. We plan to be a resource for ideas on growing food in gardens to support, educate, and help connect communities in gardening together. We believe these connections will have a mix of community benefits: Food security, share in the harvest you can even grow edibles that look fantastic in a regular garden border. Mental health - Give people access to green outside spaces. Reduce loneliness - encourage neighbours to connect over a healthy positive activity. intergenerational - invigorate and energise older adults, as well as help, reduce the likelihood of depression and loneliness.
